About Kevin
I am a trial and class action attorney who is admitted to practice in California and Oregon.
I graduated from University of California Los Angeles in 1999 and spent three years working in advertising and media planning. In 2005, I graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law where I served as a Technical Editor on the SCU Law Review and a clerk to an Administrative Law Judge with the US Department of Labor.
After graduation I handled personal injury, business litigation and real estate cases at a small Bay Area firm before joining Scott Cole & Associates, PC, where I exclusively handled wage and hour class actions and PAGA cases.
I later headed up the wage and hour class action practice at Minami Tamaki LLP where I worked with the partners who convinced the Supreme Court to overturn the conviction of Fred Korematsu for defying the incarceration of Japanese Americans during World War II.
In 2013, I started Allen Attorney Group PC. I spent much of the next decade litigating wage and hour class actions and PAGA cases. I represented hundreds of employees and many dozens of small and medium sized companies in litigation throughout California. I also acted as outside general counsel for several recruiting companies and restaurant groups. I later went to work at the AmLaw100 firm of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani LLC, where I advised employers and insurance carriers facing employment, class and PAGA litigation.
In September 2025, I joined Robinson Markevitch & Parker LLP where I work on complex litigation and class action cases while expanding my private mediation practice.
I have received training in negotiations and mediation. This includes completing the Mediating Disputes Program on Negotiations (PON) at Harvard Law School. I am trained in both collaborative and caucus style mediations. I acted as a volunteer mediator for the Clackamas County Circuit Courts in Oregon.
When not working, I am spending time with my three kids, hiking, cooking or playing in one of several tennis leagues.
